As many of you know, our pack holds an indoor Pack 577 service project every December. In past years, we have assembled kits for the Ronald McDonald House, the Veterans Hospital, and for Hope thru Soap.

This year, however, COVID requires some creativity and social distancing. Many in our community are currently jobless and food insecurity is a real problem for many families. To help fight hunger and allow scouts to help others this December, we are asking 577 families to run a small Holiday Food Drive in your own neighborhood. It's easy and will help our pack ensure that no one goes hungry this holiday season.

Here's what to do:
1. Print out the provided flyer and fill in your family's information (flyer: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qckbiSRBYsYgEDOJws4B_akFnjqjmwXO/view?usp=sharing)
2. The weekend of Dec 5th, deliver the flyers to your neighbors. You can attach them to the outside of mailboxes, front/garage doors or better yet, hand them directly to your neighbor!
3. Print and deliver optional reminder door hangars mid-week (hangar: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CJOZ0Xe52UMIjHPptp8yjcuwt5xGYBpA/view?usp=sharing)
3. Sometime on Dec 12th, swing by your neighbors' homes, pick up their items off their front porches, and deliver during the following week to one of the local food banks listed below.
